I collected the Paua shell in this pendant when visiting New Zealand, found on the beach in Timaru. The spoon I used was a scalloped coffee bean spoon from the 1930’s The bar holding the shell is part of the spoon and the T shape that holds the shell was part of a broken necklace that did have shell inlay however soldering the bar to the spoon burns the shell, hence my addition from beachcombing. It can be worn on a chain or on a leather cord which can be purchased separately if needed, please see my other listings. |
